The ballistic missile that North Korea fired over Japan Tuesday was a medium-range rocket that did not threaten US territory, the Pentagon said. “Initial assessment indicates the launch of an intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM),” the Pentagon said in a statement. “The North American Aerospace Defense Command determined this ballistic missile launch did not pose a threat to North America. US Pacific Command determined this ballistic missile launch did not pose a threat to Guam,” it said.

Breaking: Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwo is dead

By Benjamin Njoku Nollywood actor, Obi Madubogwo who has been battling with chronic diabetic sore for some time now has finally lost the battle to death. He died Monday evening, after he developed fever and was rushed to the hospital where had complications and later gave up the ghost. Confirming Madubogwo’s demise on the film makers’ platform on WhatsApp called Film4Life Monday evening, veteran producer, Chidi Nwokeabia wrote, “Obi is dead, We just spoke to the wife. He developed fever yesterday, went to the hospital this morning, had complications and died. FG set to review minimum wage in Nigeria

- The Nigerian government has agreed to set up a committee to review the minimum wage for workers - This committee is expected to include representatives of the government, NLC and employers - However, Osinbajo said it had nothing to do with the agitation for a new minimum wage in the country There is some good news for government workers in Nigeria as the government has finally put plans in motion to set up a tripartite committee to deliberate on a new minimum wage for workers in the country. Dr Peter Ozo-Eson, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) said the FG had written them to forward a list of its representatives to the committee on minimum wage.
